Transitioning your current course catalog to a new platform or software provider can seem like a daunting task. Here at Clean Catalog, we make the process of switching to our software platform quick and painless, with no extensive data entry required by your staff. Getting Started

To kick things off, we will discuss your institution’s current pain points and goals in publishing a new catalog site. Based on these discussions, our team will draft a detailed pricing proposal that can easily be shared with stakeholders. We will then schedule a Zoom demo for your staff to give a behind-the-scenes look at how our software works, while also reserving time for questions and discussion. If we both decide that we’re a great fit to work together, we’ll then begin the transition process.

Content Migration

The most dreaded task of switching to a new catalog provider is typically the thought of migrating all existing content. To lessen the burden on your staff, we include free content migration with all catalog site buildouts. Your team will simply pass off your current catalog in whatever form it's in, whether it be a PDF document, design file, or other software platform, and we’ll take care of the rest. No extensive data entry is required of your staff.

Buildout Timeline

Our catalog buildout timelines vary based on the level of customization and complexity of the new site. A typical buildout takes about 8 weeks from start to finish. Your staff can expect to receive a shell site two weeks after kickoff to begin reviewing the design, functionality, accessibility, and structure of your new site. At this point, we will import your courses, degrees, and migrate all content from your previous platform. While your staff reviews the entries for accuracy, we’ll provide a sample PDF version of your catalog. Prior to launching the site, we’ll set up all user accounts and workflows, which can be tailored to fit your institution’s needs. At every step along the way, you’ll have unlimited access to our team to request revisions and updates.

Customizing Your Catalog

Throughout the process of your buildout, you will have countless opportunities to customize your catalog. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all when it comes to catalogs, and work with your team to design a site that meets your unique needs. The format of content, structure of your site, visual design, and more can all be customized. Many of our clients choose to integrate their institution’s branding, graphics, photography, and other visual elements into their site design.

Ongoing Support

After publishing your new catalog site, your staff will receive ongoing support from the Clean Catalog team. We have a library of quick tutorials and help docs to walk you through common admin tasks. Your institution will also have access to all future updates and integrations that we unroll to ensure your site is always up-to-par with modern web standards.
