A Weekly Digest

With the Clean Catalog’s new Approval Workflow Email Digest module, users now receive a single, consolidated email each week that summarizes all of their Approval Workflow activity. Instead of receiving a new email for every item that needs review (which can add up fast), you'll get one neatly packaged update that itemizes anything awaiting your attention. Even better, updates are grouped by moderation state, so you can prioritize your work at a glance.

This new feature is designed to cut through the noise and help your team focus on what matters most: keeping content accurate, timely, and compliant. Whether you're reviewing new course additions, checking edits to degree requirements, or simply approving a minor text tweak, everything shows up in one place.

Flexible Settings

The Approval Workflow Email Digest module is designed with flexibility in mind. It can be enabled for all users or limited to specific roles, such as administrators or department heads, allowing institutions to tailor the feature to their unique workflow needs. Since it’s fully integrated into the Clean Catalog system, it works seamlessly with your existing content workflow process. There’s no need to train your team on a new tool or change your current review process — it simply makes managing content more efficient.

Email Formatting

Once enabled, this module will also turn on two supporting features: Mime Mail and Clean Catalog Mail. These make sure your digest (and all outgoing emails) are formatted as clean, responsive HTML, all in a polished template that matches your catalog’s branding. It’s a small touch, but one that helps your team recognize and engage with emails faster.
