Catalog Requirements for ACCSC

If your institution is seeking first-time accreditation or is renewing accreditation with the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), it’s important to know what requirements your school needs to meet, particularly when it comes to your catalog. To help you with this, we at Clean Catalog have compiled a checklist of the ACCSC’s catalog requirements. Please note, however, it’s important that you also consult the ACCSC’s Standards of Accreditation manual as you go through this process.

Within your catalog, be sure to make accurate disclosures to students when it comes to:

• Portrayal of the school, including its educational programs, resources, and facilities.
• Policies and procedures.
• Impression of the school, including clearly identified narrative, illustrations, and photos.
• Current relevant information for students to review in full before signing an enrollment agreement.
• Consistency across all versions (either in printed and bound or read-only electronic format) that are made available to students.
